Boys and Girls Club Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides kids access to safe places, positive relationships, healthy meals, homework help, and enriching experiences through after-school and mentoring programs. An important and sustainable source of income for Big Brothers Big Sisters comes from the Dream Home Lottery (DHL), operated by BGCBigs.
In August 2017, Johnston Research conducted two focus groups in Edmonton to gain insights into public perceptions of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Dream Home Lottery. Research engaged both current and lapsed Dream Home Lottery ticket buyers between the ages of 25 and 64.
The research gathered by Johnston Research aided BGCBigs in understanding how their customers view the Dream Home Lottery, as well as customer motivations and barriers to supporting the Lottery.
