Learning you, or a loved one has cancer, changes everything. Battling cancer is a difficult and emotional experience, made even more challenging for some, whose cancer journeys mean travelling away from their homes for treatment. –
And that’s where Sorrentino’s Compassion House comes in.
Sorrentino’s Compassion House is a haven for women battling cancer. It provides a safe and affordable place to stay for those who must travel to receive their cancer treatments—saving women an average of $4,000 in accommodations savings during a typical five-week stay.
Not only does the house provide this affordable place to stay, but when treatment is over, women often leave with renewed hope for their future, after having made cherished friendships and support they may not have had before.
Sorrentino’s Compassion House can only offer this incredible service through community support—specifically, through the annual Fashion with Compassion, the house’s biggest annual fundraising event.
Sorrentino’s Compassion House Foundation reached out to Johnston Research to conduct a series of in-depth interviews with sponsors, donors and ticket buyers to get feedback on the event, and how the organization can continue to make Fashion with Compassion better and more impactful.
Results from Johnston Research will be used to improve the event, and ensure it continues to be a must-attend evening of fashion and fun, all the while raising money to help women in need.
